Tim Mullins, LPC

Fort Collins Primary Therapist
Tim Mullins, LPC

Tim followed a roundabout path to becoming a counselor, having previously worked as a bilingual elementary school teacher, owner of a meat processing business, ski instructor, cook, and volleyball coach; among many others. He decided to become a counselor after the guidance of an excellent therapist and a 12-step program helped him recognize the damaging and dysfunctional patterns in his life, stop running, and turn things around. He has been a member of the 12 step fellowship Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families for eight years, and specializes in helping clients understand how the way they were raised currently affects their thoughts, emotions, and attitudes about the world. He is passionate about helping people understand the importance of who they truly are, especially those who feel they have no voice. Outside of work Tim enjoys reading good fiction, playing tennis and pickleball, getting out on the water, and all things outdoors, especially chasing around elk with a bow and arrow in the fall.
