Ella has experience with modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and somatic experiencing, and she remains committed to the lifelong development of her clinical skills. Most crucial is her desire to honor self-determination of clients to guide them towards their ultimate goals. While working with group and family dynamics in a substance use clinic located in Albany, NY, Ella developed her person-in-environment perspective. This outlook allowed her to understand the ways in which clients have been shaped by their core relationships and experiences. Additionally, Ella’s work in private practice social work led her to offer individual sessions with clients of varying backgrounds and presentations. Ella received her Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Skidmore College in 2023. She graduated with her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2024. Outside of serving clients, Ella greatly enjoys the outdoors, hiking and biking, experiencing new cultures, riding horses, as well as time with her friends and family.
